The RSPB required a web application through which they could provide learning material to people interested in birds and birdwatching. Once a user has logged-in they are presented with 6 different modules as well as access to the resource library which contains the RPSB Handbook of British Birds and Where to Watch Birds - Britain.
Following the criticism and perceived failure of Windows VIsta, the latest operating system from Microsoft, it has made me think about the direction in which Microsoft are going and how they fair against competitors in their markets.
An interesting problem arose in the office yesterday. For some unknown reason background images in webpages were not appearing on one computer. The eventual cause of the problem was that the computer was running Windows XP in High Contrast mode, though it didn’t seem apparent from looking at it.
