what a formidable force they would be. I currently use both of the Google services to track user movements on my websites and to help Google index my websites.

Although Google Analytics is targeted towards search engine marketers it does incorporate some features that are of benefit for web designers, such as the Web Design Parameters section. I feel that this feature should be expanded further to encompass the features that Google Sitemaps currently holds, in particular notification of crawl errors from Google, top search queries, the crawl analysis and page analysis.

So in the future instead of having to log into both Google Analytics and Google Sitemaps independently, the information could be stored in one central repository which would provide information for both marketers and developers alike.
